When you have a big lens you need a big tripod and the Gitzo 1548 does the job perfectly. When teamed up with the Wimberley Head this combo does a superb job of supporting the heavy 600mm a TC and D3. As you will be aware long lenses and heavy cameras exacerbate any camera shake but this is a rock solid platform allows me to create super sharp images every time.
